The insulation layer is laid loosely using an overlapping wrapping method under parquet, screed, or floor covering. To prevent the screed from coming into contact with the wall, the LADIX IMPACT SOUND INSULATION BOARD must be extended up to the skirting level during installation. Typically, a floating screed with a thickness of 5 cm is poured over the board. When the board is used under the screed, it provides better sound absorption performance in combination with the screed.
