Intermob Fair Once Again Marks a Success in 2024!
The 26th edition of the International Furniture Side Industry, Accessories, Forestry Products, and Wood Technology Fair, Intermob, made a triumphant return on September 12-15, 2024. Held at the Tüyap Fair and Congress Center in Istanbul, the event hosted 550+ Turkish and international companies as exhibitors. With a total of 37,108 visitors from 109 countries, including leading furniture manufacturers from Türkiye and around the world, the fair laid the foundation for new investments and business connections within the furniture industry.Intermob, hosted for the 26th time at Tüyap Fair and Congress Center in Büyükçekmece, Istanbul, once again demonstrated its crucial position as the most significant trade event driving the furniture industry in greater Eurasian region. Exhibitors showcased a wide range of products, from furniture accessories to upholstery materials, furniture chemicals, and forestry products. Exhibiting companies forged new business relationships both locally and internationally, while visitors explored cutting-edge trends that will shape the future of furniture design and met new suppliers to enhance their production capabilities. 7,261 visitors from 108 countries contributed to the total visitor count of 37,108, underscoring Intermob’s global reach. The fair brought together industry professionals from across the globe— especially furniture manufacturers, architects, and construction sector representatives— further solidifying Türkiye’s growing influence in the global furniture market.
Reflecting on the success of Intermob, Berkan Öner, General Manager of RX Tüyap, who organized the event in collaboration with the Furniture Accessories Industrialists Association (MAKSDER) and with the support of the Ministry of Trade of the Republic of Türkiye, stated: "Intermob 2024 once again highlighted the strength of the Turkish furniture sector. This success has strengthened our optimism for the future of the industry.
